ADR TEX Universal Electro-Screen Shield is a base fabric made of non-woven Hydronina (spunlace) which is activated with ADR Technology®. The non-woven fabric utilizes a water needling technique. Its qualities are similar to that of textiles, it is durable and strong, has good physical and aesthetic properties, as well as a very high absorption capacity.

Average screening efficiency of the ADR TEX against the external sources of electric fields, determined in optimum screening conditions, amounts to ~30 dB within the frequency range from ~ 1 Hz to 100 KHz.
However, upon special request ADR TEX Universal Electro-Screen Shield with screening range up to 3 GHz for MRI, EPR and NMR applications, can be manufactured using the same ADR® Technology.

The composite material consists of:

• many-phase system based on ADR-Technology® (patent application WO2007099106) placed between two protecting layers
• flat housing, containing a layer of specially selected rubber foam and cotton or poliester covering cloth.

ADR TEX fabric qualities are similar to that of textiles; durable and strong. The activation of the fabric with ADR Technology® increases its fire retardant properties.

In isolated construction conditions it is durable for 20 years. As a material for the production of shielding mats used on beds, furniture, clothes, etc (depending on usage) it is durable for about 5 years.

Usually metals, metallized syntetic plastics, glasses containing conducting grid or conducting polymers are used to screen the electromagnetic field. However, ADR TEX design allows it also to take the advantage of the absorption of electric component of the electromagnetic field.

The active part of ADR TEX Universal Electro-Screen Shield acts as a shield against harmful electromagnetic radiation. Electromagnetic fields can affect the electrolytic economy, processes which involve ions and the immune system, (allergies and inflammations can be aggravated). In many cases only the neutralization of electric fields can make one’s health and mood better.

The International Exhibition of Inventions was held in Geneva from the 6th to the 8th of April 2011. Our company presented its electric field screen (main composite for ADR-Mat for Bed) and won the Gold Medal in the category of Environmental Protection and Energy.
